This series of photos was taken at the pond in back of our home in Lake County, Florida. I was following a Little Blue Heron as he was fishing. He ducks his head under water when he spots a fish. He brings it up along with some weeds. He shook and tossed it to get rid of the weeds and reposition the fish. In image four and five you can see the fish being swalloed whole as it travels down his throat.
