With his brilliant pink back, orange tail feathers, and long, wide bill, the Spoonbill is one of nature’s treasures. To feed, he sweeps that big bill back and forth in the water scooping up whatever happens to be in the vicinity. They’re primarily found along the Gulf coast in the United States. The top two Spoonbills were photographed in Orange County, Florida, the bottom two were photographed on Sanibel Island, Florida.
